A home with heartGloucestershire House is a residential service with nursing support in Cheltenham, and home for up to 30 disabled adults. We also provide supported living bungalows for up to six more people. Residents are deeply involved in the running of the entire service. You’ll find excellent facilities, a friendly and positive atmosphere and a beautiful local area.
Your working hours15 hours per week, 2 days per week - no set daysIdeally we are looking for an Activities Worker to work 7.5 hours per day, 2 days per week

What you’ll do- Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive social and recreational activities
- Support residents to explore their interests and take part in community life
- Organise outings, events, and creative sessions that encourage participation and fun
- Work closely with individuals who are non-verbal and use wheelchairs, ensuring every activity is accessible and enjoyable
- Bring a flexible, caring, and person-centred approach to everything you do
What helps you shine here- Previous experience as an Activities Worker is essential.
- Experience supporting non-verbal, wheelchair users with complex needs is advantageous
- Full manual driving licence (essential)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work flexibly and creatively, including occasional evenings or weekends
- A warm, positive attitude and genuine passion for making a difference
