RGN working in an acute environment with increased exposure to urology and surgical care, admissions, discharges, pre and post operative care, the area has a bed base x 6

Trolley area for assessment

Waiting area for ambulatory care

Experienced team with lots of different skills to implement excellent nursing care.

Qualifications
Essential

• Registered Nurse, current NMC registration
• BSc in Nursing (Diploma in Nursing as a minimum)

Desirable

• Practice Assessor/Practice Supervisor Training
• Post registration qualification in relevant specialty

Experience
Essential

• Recent clinical nursing experience as a student or as a registered nurse

Desirable

• Experience within relevant clinical setting
• Evidence of maintaining a clinical learning environment
• Evidence of working with learners

Knowledge
Essential

• Sound clinical nursing knowledge and a good understanding of nursing issues and clinical governance
• Demonstrates awareness of own limitations

Skills
