Job summaryThis post is suitable for an experienced doctor interested in a career in Paediatrics. The successful applicant will be part of a large general paediatric team providing care to children admitted to the inpatient ward(Jacks Place- 28beds), the short stay paediatric ward( Rainbow unit- 8 beds), Paediatric AE and Paediatric outpatients (general and numerous subspeciality clinics, including, allergy, epilepsy, gastro, sickle cell disease, endocrine, asthma, TB and infectious diseases, cardiology). The post is also ideal for an experienced paediatric doctor who can demonstrate that they have achieved the competences expected of a new ST4+ level paediatric trainee. MRCPCH or equivalent is desirable. It is suitable for those interested in advancing their general paediatrics knowledge and developing their administrative skills in a teaching hospital environment.
