Hours: 34.5 hours per week

We are looking for an experienced leader in the care sector to join Team Meallmore at The Grove based in Kemnay. As a Deputy Manager, you'll work together with our Home Manager to provide strong leadership to colleagues and ensure our residents receive personalised and compassionate care.

Role & Responsibilities

• Providing strong clinical oversight at home level, ensuring safe, person-centred care is consistently delivered
• Leading governance, quality assurance and continuous improvement processes
• Supporting regulatory compliance and maintaining excellent Care Inspectorate standards
• Acting up in the Home Manager’s absence and participating in the on-call rota
• Contributing to workforce planning, succession development and performance management
• Monitoring operational performance and supporting delivery of the home’s objectives
• Building strong, professional relationships with residents, families and external stakeholders

What we are looking for
You will be a registered nurse (RGN, RMN or RLDN) with active NMC registration and proven experience within a care home setting.

Beyond your qualifications, you will demonstrate -

• Strong clinical leadership and knowledge of Scottish regulatory frameworks
• Confidence in managing governance responsibilities and operational performance
• The ability to inspire, mentor and develop colleagues at all levels
• Commercial awareness and an understanding of how quality care and business performance align
• A genuine commitment to continuous learning and improvement
• What’s just as important is that you are organised, flexible in your approach and have great communication skills
