Job Summary
Are you an experienced FNA Sonographer looking to pick up extra shifts during the week?

Medicare are currently looking for Sonographers that can perform FNA biopsies, to work midweek for our clients in the South of England. We offer Flexible Contracts that allow our candidates to choose their preferred working days, hours and locality which allows them to work around their schedule.

Multiple positions available doing midweek lists. (Monday to Friday)

Main duties of the job

• To perform FNA biopsies in NHS hospital settings in order to assist with reducing patient backlogs
• To provide a high standard of work ensuring that the ultrasound examinations of patients are carried out efficiently
• Must have a minimum of 2 years experience of working in the NHS.

Job responsibilities

• To carry out FNA ultra sound guided biopsies independently delivering a high standard of work
• To promote a multi disciplinary approach to patient care within the trust, ensuring a patient centred approach to care.

• Must have a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience of working in the NHS completing FNA (Fine needle aspiration ) ultrasound Guided Injections.

• Must have completed a postgraduate certificate or a postgraduate diploma in medical or clinical ultrasound
