Job summary
Are you an experienced Obstetric Sonographer looking to pick up extra shifts during the week?

Medicare are currently looking for Sonographers to work midweek completing Obstetric ultrasound scans for our client in Scotland. We offer Flexible Contracts that allow our candidates to choose their preferred working days, hours and locality which allows them to work around their schedule.

Multiple positions available do midweek lists. ( Monday to Friday)

Please note we may close this vacancy early depending on the number of applications received.

Main duties of the job

• To perform obstetric scans in NHS hospital settings in order to assist with reducing patient backlogs
• To provide a high standard of work ensuring that the ultrasound examinations of patients are carried out efficiently
• Must have a minimum of 2 years experience of working in the NHS.

Job responsibilities

• To carry out obstetric ultra sound Scans and report independently delivering a high standard of work
• To promote a multi disciplinary approach to patient care within the trust, ensuring a patient centred approach to care
• MUST have CASE accredited Qualification
• MUST have a valid Downs Syndrome Screening Quality Assurance Support Service (DQASS) identification number.
