The role will involve shift rotation and a team approach to working effectively as part of the multi-disciplinary team.

An Enhanced DBS Certificate with both the Children's and Adults' Barred Lists is required.
Main duties of the job- Assess, plan develop and implement programmes of care to patients, providing advice in a variety of settings.
- Carry out nursing procedures in line with current NMC standards of proficiency.
- Ensure the health, wellbeing and independence of patients and service users across healthcare settings, maintaining associated records, ensuring all patients receive safe and effective care at all times.
- Supervision of junior staff and all learners
- Understand and demonstrate the Trust values at all times.

QualificationsEssential- 1st Level Registered Nurse (degree/diploma)
- Current NMC Registration
- Evidence of continuing professional development
Knowledge and ExperienceEssential- Able to demonstrate knowledge of NMC professional standards for practice contained within the code
- Experience of working in a clinical environment
- Understand requirements for NMC professional Revalidation
- Experience of working within a multi-disciplinary team
- An understanding of national, regional and local NHS issues
