An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the 0-19 Stoke Integrated Health Visitor and School Nurse Service delivering public health services to children and families across Stoke on Trent

We have a vacancy offering a 37.5 hrs a week for a Band 6 Public Health Practitioner School Nurse based in the 0-19 Stoke South West Team supporting 0-19 Stoke South East Team

We are seeking a person who will be caring and compassionate, who has the ability to actively listen and have a warm and approachable manner. You will lead by example and encourage effective skill mix team working to develop others ad ensure the best outcomes for our Children, Young People and Families across Stoke on Trent.

We also provide the Transfer of Fields (TOF) Training which is an opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills within the 0-5 and 5-19 elements of the service.

Main duties of the job

  • Be skilled in the assessment of children and young people's care/support needs and in the development, implementation and evaluation of care/support

Experience
Suitable for experienced or a newly qualified School Nurse.
