Find a Balance in a Career That Truly Cares
Ready for a role that fits around your life while still making a meaningful impact? If you're a Registered Midwife looking for greater flexibility, supportive colleagues, and the chance to grow, this opportunity in Buckhurst Hill could be exactly what you've been looking for. We'd love to hear from qualified Adult Nurses or Midwives holding a current NMC registration, who are passionate about delivering respectful, person-focused care and supporting individuals to make informed choices. We are not currently accepting applications from Newly Qualified Midwives.

You'll receive comprehensive training to provide safe, compassionate abortion care as well as a broader range of reproductive health services, including early medical and surgical procedures and contraceptive support. As you build confidence in the role, you'll have the opportunity to work more independently across community sites in Southend, Stratford, Dagenham, Romford, and Colchester, with full competency typically reached within 6–12 months.

💚 What Makes This Role Stand Out
Join a welcoming and inclusive team where collaboration and support come naturally, while enjoying a consistent daytime schedule that leaves your evenings and most weekends free. You'll benefit from practical training and structured development to help you feel confident in your role, with ongoing support to grow your clinical skills in a forward-thinking, patient-centred environment.

Why Join Us?
We offer a supportive, values-driven environment where your contribution is recognised and rewarded:

💰 Financial & Rewards: Aviva pension (up to 5% employer contribution), Blue Light Card discounts (4,000+ perks), Cycle to Work scheme, season ticket loan, and long-service recognition rewards.

🧘 Wellbeing & Work–Life Balance: Opportunity to buy and sell annual leave, 24/7 GP access and EAP via Westfield Health, an extra day off for your birthday, accredited Mental Health First Aiders, family-friendly policies and a national employee recognition programme.

📈 Learning & Career Development: Clear career pathways, paid training and development, accredited apprenticeships, and learning agreements to support your professional growth.

We're proud to be a disability confident level two equal opportunities employer and give equal consideration to all qualified applicants without regard to race, ethnicity, religion, gender, gender identity / expression, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, or age.

Please note:
  • If you do not upload a CV or Resume, your application will not be considered.
  • This role is not eligible for sponsorship and successful applicants must have the right to work in the UK from day one of employment.
  • We consider applications as we receive them and reserve the right to close adverts early where we have received a sufficient number of applications.
