Job summaryWe're seeking an
Independent End Point Assessor (IEPA) for the
Oral Health Practitioner standards to join our
End Point Assessment team.
Main duties of the jobIn this role, you'll play a key part in shaping the future workforce by assessing apprentices at the final stage of their journey. You'll use your professional expertise to evaluate performance, ensure high standards, and help learners achieve their full potential.
This role could be suitable if you're a Dental Therapist, Dental Hygienist or experienced Oral Health Educator looking to utilise your clinical experience in a flexible role while contributing to the development of the next generation of oral health professionals.
Whilst this is a flexible worker role, during the period of allocated work we require availability between the hours of 9am 5pm, Monday Friday to be able to carry out reviews. Job responsibilitiesHow you'll make an impact:- Delivering EPA in line with the Dental Nurse and Oral Health Practitioner Level 4 standards
- Utilising NCFE Apprenticeship Services EPA platform to record EPAs and interact with apprentices
- Attending standardisation events to ensure quality, compliance, and consistency
- Communicating with apprentices, ITPs and employers on EPA and grading
Person SpecificationKnowledgeEssential- A driving licence and have flexibility to travel across your area
ExperienceEssential- Recent relevant experience of the occupation/sector to at least the same level as a Dental Nurse
- Experience of producing clear and accurate reports
QualificationsEssential- A recognised Assessor qualification or working towards
- Occupational competence across the standard i.e. a General Dental Council registrant with appropriate post registration clinical experience and up-to-date continuing professional development
