Staff Nurse
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Staff Nurse based at Arran War Memorial Hospital. This post is offered on a permanent basis.

Salary: Band 5 (£34,544 - £43,039)
Hours: Post 1 & 2 - 36 hours per week 7-day service cover. Post 3 - 22.7 hours per week 7-day service. Job share will be considered for this post.

What you will do:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated staff nurse to join our integrated nursing team on the Isle of Arran. This rewarding and varied role offers the opportunity to work across the Emergency Department, inpatient ward and community settings, providing high-quality, person-centred care and supporting the delivery of urgent and unscheduled care services.

Working as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, you will use advanced assessment and clinical decision-making skills to assess, manage and coordinate care for patients with a wide range of acute and ongoing healthcare needs. You will contribute to the delivery of safe, effective care while supporting the ongoing development of integrated services across Arran.

This post is part of the continuing transformation of health services on Arran, supporting a sustainable urgent care model and the development of a flexible single nursing team working across hospital and community settings.

Knowledge, training and/or experience required:
We are looking for registered nurses with experience in acute or community hospital services who are keen to further develop their career. You will:

• Deliver clinical assessment and management of patients with urgent and acute healthcare needs.
• Work as part of an integrated multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
• Support care delivery across community, inpatient and urgent care services.
• Contribute to service development and innovation within a remote and rural healthcare setting.
