Applicants are required to demonstrate application of the principles of Getting It Right for Every Child (GIRFEC) approach in clinical practice in addition to robust understanding of national and local policies relating to child protection and the wellbeing of children and young people. Most importantly, applicants are required to have a commitment to the spirit and ethos of FNP and its strength based approach.
