Community Therapy: Physiotherapy

B7 Physiotherapy Team Lead – 28.8 hrs

An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead an established team of Physiotherapists working within the locality community therapy teams in Edinburgh. The multidisciplinary teams provide short term interventions to support people at home who are experiencing a recent change in their circumstances that could potentially result in a hospital admission. This includes the management of people at risk of falls in the community. They also work with secondary care to facilitate earlier hospital discharges for people who require increased support and rehabilitation on their initial discharge form hospital.

This role will include clinical leadership and service development. The role will require participation in a 5/7 working pattern and include a clinical caseload. The Community Therapy teams are part of wider services within Edinburgh Health and Social Care Partnership which provide community rehabilitation, with access to development opportunities, peer support and supervision.
