Job Title: Clinical Pharmacist - 88982
Grade: Band 7
Trust: Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust
Location: Royal Berkshire Hospital, RG1 5AN
Ward: Pharmacy - Aseptics
Pay Rates: £28.90 per hour
Shift Patterns: 37.5 hours per week, Mon-Fri 09:00-17:15

Main duties of the job
To act as an Authorised Pharmacist and take professional responsibility for the safe and timely preparation and supply of systemic anti-cancer therapy and aseptically prepared products.

Providing professional and technical support in the preparation of systemic anti-cancer therapy and aseptically prepared products.

Accuracy check dispensed and prepared SACT in the Aseptics unit

Support the development of the clinical pharmacy service to Oncology and Haematology Clinics.

Support Accountable Pharmacist and Aseptics Services Manager in maintenance of Quality Management Systems.

Qualifications
  • Professional Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Masters Degree in Pharmacy or UK recognised equivalent.

Experience
  • NHS experience is Essential.
  • Experience within Aseptic/Oncology is Essential.
