We are equally committed to the opportunities we provide to the team to enable individuals to develop and learn. Our ward is lucky to have its own dedicated Clinical Nurse educator, to support you from day one. Support will be given from the ward to progress

Main duties of the jobEdgefield ward is a 36 bedded acute Urology ward providing care for patients on both the elective and non-elective. We specialise in caring for complex urology patients which include lithotripsy treatment and robotic surgery.
Our nursing teams work alongside a range of dedicated Healthcare professionals to deliver a collaborative and integrated care using a multi-disciplinary approach.

Job responsibilities- Work with all members of the Ward clinical team within the multi-disciplinary framework. Maintain a high standard of patient care under the direction of the Ward Manager.
- Act as a leader in the clinical area, in the absence of a more senior member of staff. To work in accordance with the principles set out by the Nursing/Midwifery professional bodies and Trust Policies.
- To support the delivery of a high quality, safe and compassionate healthcare service, all staff are expected to act as a role model to others in all aspects of their work and consistently demonstrate NNUHs PRIDE values of People focused, Respect, Integrity, Dedication and Excellence.
