We offer a £2000 welcome payment for qualified and experienced Practice Consultants new to Norfolk County Council. Amount to be repaid in full should you leave within two years of employment.

About the team
The Moving With Dignity team is recruiting to a permanent Practice Consultant position. You will join an established team made up of a Team Manager and two Occupational Therapists.

This countywide team has been focusing on delivering moving and handling training to Norfolk County Council’s Occupational Therapists and optimising care to our principal providers. The team offers clinical and educational support to Personal Assistants and informal Carers.

Key responsibilities
As Practice Consultant, you will hold a clinical caseload and provide support and guidance to Social Workers with complex moving and handling cases. Your recommendations will focus on achieving the optimal level of care for each individual.

You will also support the Moving and Handling Team Manager with the supervision and clinical support to existing clinical staff. You will deputise for the Team Manager, covering sickness absence or leave.

You need to be registered with the HCPC as a practising Occupational Therapist.
