Job descriptionJob responsibilitiesCore psychiatry trainees undertake a three-year programme during which they rotate through a range of psychiatric placements. As part of their training, they are required to develop practical competence in psychological therapies, including completion of a supervised short therapy case.
The postholder will be responsible for coordinating and delivering the short-case CBT supervision programme across Barnet, Enfield and Haringey. This will involve supporting up to ten trainees during each six-month rotation through two supervision groups of approximately five trainees.

This will introduce the selected psychological therapy model, explain the expectations of supervision and help trainees understand the relevant clinical, ethical and portfolio requirements. The postholder will coordinate the identification of appropriate training cases.
