We are a successful, supportive and established NHS Talking Therapies service looking for expressions of interest for a Locality Operational Manager. The service is expanding and aims to continue to build strong local community ties and with this aim as a focus there are numerous opportunities to work on creative projects and initiatives in the local area. The job is a full time role but oppportunities for flexible working practises will be considered.

Main duties of the job
Role will include:

• To manage the North locality team focusing on delivery of access and recovery targets for the service. This requires creative thinking for new opportunities to deliver services to people who do not normally access mental health care.
• To manage and support the running of the North team operationally to ensure quality care and service at all levels of service users engagement. This will include development and training for staff to ensure this quality of care.
• To look at manage rotas, sickness, performance, conduct issues with staff.
• Regular attendance at weekly senior management meetings and to deliver a monthly team meeting for North team.
• Co-ordinating staff recruitment, training and schedules.
• To analyse clinical data, research the latest guidance and trends and evaluate demand and capacity.
• To be supervised and supported by the Service Manager.

Person Specification
Qualifications
Essential

• Relevant degree level qualification or equivalent experience

Desirable

• Experience of line management, operational management or leading teams within a healthcare, mental health or psychological therapies setting.

Experience
Essential

• Experience of leading, coordinating or contributing significantly to service delivery, improvement or change.

Desirable

• Experience within NHS Talking Therapies , Psychological Therapies, Mental Health or related healthcare

Knowledge
Essential

• Good knowledge and understanding of NHS Talking Therapies and it's operational delivery.
• Understanding of performance, quality, workforce and governance requirements within NHS services.

Skills
Essential

• Demonstratable leadership, influencing and relationship-building skills
• Ability to analyse information, prioritise efffectivelty make sound decisions and lead improvement.
