Job summaryAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time band 8a Matron post for the MSKMT services within the Surgery and Associated Services Care Group at Nottingham University Hospital.
The post holder will be responsible for the following areas; Major Trauma, Trauma and Orthopaedics as well as Nurse specialists. The specialties have a strong reputation for training and innovation and the multidisciplinary team, work closely together to ensure patients receive the best possible care and outcome.
This role will work alongside other Matrons within the Surgery and Associated Services Care Group.
Main duties of the jobThe Matron will be a key role in the continued development of our services and in transforming the experience of our patients. This role is heavily focused on supporting our clinical teams to give the safest quality care for patients. This role will provide visible and dynamic leadership for our teams to deliver continued improvements.

Person SpecificationQualificationEssential- Qualified Practitioner - NMC PIN
- First Degree in Health related subject
- Evidence of CPD
- Management qualification or relevant experience
- ENB 998 or equivalent teaching course
