As a Radiographer, you will:- Deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service for a very varied caseload – within the department, on the ward and in theatre
- Working with leading practitioners and experiencing new practices, equipment and facilities
- As a clinical lead, you will enjoy scoping to develop policies and procedures
- Supervising and developing more junior staff members
Providing a service of the highest quality, delivered with sensitivity and compassion.
To succeed as a Radiographer you will have:- High levels of technical knowledge and the ability to work quickly and accurately, with a great eye for detail
- A caring nature – to see each patient as an individual and carry out this role with understanding and empathy
- A BSC degree in diagnostic radiography or equivalent to meet the registration requirements of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Excellent communication and team working abilities

We have 3 main theatres – 2 laminar flow and 1 digital, a fully JAG accredited endoscopy suite, a 35-bedded ward with one 4 bedded bay and one 2 bedded bay. Our outpatients department has 12 consulting rooms with a dedicated ophthalmology suite and ENT service.
We carry out treatment under a range of specialities including Orthopaedics, Plastic Surgery and Neurosurgery. We recently were rated in the top 50 hospitals in the country for our total hip replacement patient outcomes.
