You’ll join our Pharmacy team as a technician, bringing relevant experience and a NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Pharmacy services skills where you’ll become part of a knowledgeable team and support the efficient running of the service.
As a Pharmacy Technician, you will:- To monitor stock levels within the Pharmacy department to maintain appropriate stock levels
- To assist with the procurement of pharmaceutical stock for the pharmacy and other departments using appropriate electronic systems
- To receive goods in appropriately checking against purchase orders/delivery notes, dealing with issues/anomalies as they arise and escalating appropriately
- To carry out dispensing of medicines accurately selecting the correct quantity of medicine required and assembling, labelling and processing them in a safe, efficient and timely manner
- To provide day to day support and guidance to Pharmacy staff as appropriate
- To effectively co-ordinate and undertake activities to support the efficient working of the pharmacy service£
To succeed as a Pharmacy Technician, you will:- NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Pharmacy Service Skills
- Registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council
- Experience either within a hospital or community pharmacy.
- SACT Passport beneficial
- Good IT Skills
- Good literacy and numeracy
- Good communication skills
