As a Radiographer at our hospital, you’ll bring high levels of technical knowledge and the ability to work quickly and accurately. You have a great eye for detail and you’re caring by nature. You hold a BSC degree in diagnostic radiography or equivalent to meet the registration requirements of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), a postgraduate qualification and excellent teamwork skills.
As a Radiographer, you will:- Help deliver our high-quality diagnostic imaging service
- Experience a varied caseload in the department, on the ward and in theatre
- Work with leading practitioners and new practices, equipment and facilities
- Carry out scoping to develop policies and procedures
- Supervise and develop junior colleagues
- Ensure that what you do is delivered with sensitivity and compassion

Nuffield Health Shrewsbury HospitalShrewsbury hospital, ranked as 'Good' in the last CQC inspection, is purpose built and well equipped with 30 en-suite bedrooms, 3 operating theatres, an endoscopy suite, an Ambulatory Care Unit, and a busy outpatients department which includes physiotherapy and diagnostic imaging. Our diagnostic provision includes X-ray, Ultrasound, MRI and CT facilities. We offer the most up to date surgical treatments combined with a warm welcome and a professional and caring service from our matron-led nursing team. We specialise in the areas of orthopaedics, ophthalmology, cosmetic surgery, and women's health, but also undertake general surgery, urology, and interventions for chronic pain management. 2027 will see the arrival of a brand new X-ray room and interventional procedure room.
