Job SummaryWe are currently seeking an Orthotist who is looking for an opportunity to develop their career at our service based in Bristol.
The role will involve working with a complex clinical case load and will be instrumental in developing and implementing service improvements for the betterment of patients in Bristol.
Main duties of the jobKey Responsibilities- Ensure the delivery of high quality care for all patients and the smooth running of the service.
- Working closely with MDTs.
- Inputting and leading on initiatives within the service development plan.
- Conduct comprehensive assessment of patients to determine their orthotic needs.
- Develop and implement personalised orthotic treatment plans.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in orthotic technology and practices.
- Provide excellent patient care, education, and support throughout the treatment process.
- Assessing, measuring, casting, fitting, suppling, reviewing and adjusting orthoses as required.
- Maintaining appropriate clinical notes.
Skills & Experience- A minimum of 3 years work experience.
- Demonstrated experience of complex casework in adult and paediatric care.
- Self-starter with a flexible and pro active approach.
- Ability to build strong working relationships through effective verbal and written communication.
Qualifications- The successful candidate must possess one of the following qualifications: Certified Orthotist, HND Orthotics, BSc Orthotics.
- Full HCPC Registration.
- A valid UK Driving Licence.
- The ability to meet the requirements of an Enhanced Disclosure Barring Service DBS Check.
