Job summaryWe are looking for an experienced and motivated
FCP Paramedic who has
completed their FCP portfolio or postgraduate FCP MSc qualification, to join our growing multidisciplinary team. You will work at the forefront of primary care, providing high-quality assessment, diagnosis, and management of patients presenting with undifferentiated and undiagnosed conditions, particularly in the areas of minor illness and urgent care.
Main duties of the job- Manage patients with a range of conditions, providing expert assessment and clinical decision-making
- Conduct face-to-face and telephone consultations, including home visits where appropriate
- Support management of long-term conditions and contribute to preventative care
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team alongside GPs, ANPs, Podiatrists, Physios, Social Prescribers and Clinical Pharmacists
- Participate in clinical supervision, MDT meetings and ongoing professional development
About usAs an FCP Paramedic, you will work independently and collaboratively within our MDT across our GP practices, contributing to enhanced access, reducing pressure on GP appointments, and improving patient outcomes.

Person SpecificationQualificationsEssential- Registered Paramedic with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Completed FCP Roadmap portfolio (Stage 1 & 2) or FCP MSc qualification
- Qualified to advanced clinical practice level or equivalent, with experience in urgent or primary care.
Desirable- Independent prescribing qualification.
ExperienceEssential- Registered Paramedic with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Qualified to advanced clinical practice level or equivalent, with experience in urgent or primary care.
- Strong clinical assessment, decision-making, and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using electronic patient record systems.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
Desirable- Experience working within primary care or urgent care settings.
- Knowledge of local health and social care systems.
- Experience in managing minor injuries clinics.
- Experience working in acute illness hubs
