Job DescriptionWe are looking for a motivated and team-orientated individual to join our Biologics Production QC area as a QC Lab Technician. This role mostly involves preparing incoming verification of materials critical buffers essential for QC testing, and analytical procedures, performing device and equipment maintenance, etc.
The Details...Reporting to the Biologics Production QC Manager/Lead, the successful candidate will carry out daily production QC activities relating to kit and flow cell components. Main responsibilities include:
- Incoming verification of materials.
- Preparing critical buffers essential for QC testing and analytical procedures.
- Performing device and equipment maintenance.
- Routine calibration checks.
- Consumables restocking.
What We're Looking For...We'll expect you to have some hands-on experience in a laboratory or manufacturing setting. In addition, you'll have A' Levels in Biology or Chemistry, advanced maths skills and a good understanding of scientific concepts. Knowledge of handling chemicals would also be advantageous.
You have a good eye for detail, are an effective communicator and enjoy working as part of a team. Organisational skills and a systematic approach to work would also be beneficial. This role will suit someone who is quality and process driven, responsive to customer needs and who can take a positive approach and work to meet the challenges of a rapidly changing environment.
