Job summaryThe Churchill Hospital in Oxford has a strong urology department, offering a comprehensive range of services for patients with conditions affecting the urinary tract and male reproductive organs. The department is part of Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and is known for its expertise in diagnosing and treating a variety of urological conditions, including kidney stones, bladder problems, urinary tract infections, and urological cancers.
The Urology Outpatients located in the Wytham Wing is looking for a keen and dedicated Band 5 RN to support the service delivery within the specialist urology clinics. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team of expert and innovative Urologists, nurse practitioners / CNS, nurses, support workers, researchers, and other members of the MDT. We are a dynamic and friendly unit and this position will help you to build knowledge and to develop the experience and skills in Urology. If you have this particular interest with a hard working attitude, patient centred, good team player and professional approach, have current experience in or have a keen interest in Urology or Outpatients environment, we would like to hear from you.
Main duties of the jobThe post holder will support the clinicians carry out a range of diagnostic procedures and day case treatments. They will be responsible for the assessment, planning, and provision of specialist nursing advice and carry out specialist nursing procedures. They will be required to support the team in the smooth running of all clinics and to maintain a safe working environment.
