Qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), with 6-12 months post registration experience with active NMC Registration and completed preceptorship programme. Knowledge of NMC guidelines, requests and professional practices. This role is not suitable for newly qualified nurses or preceptorship nurses.

You will be working across all of our wards. Our brand new hospital conversion allows for access to high quality, modern facilities within a peaceful and comfortable atmosphere, close to relaxing woodland, to help facilitate recovery and hope. In addition to acres of rolling countryside on all sides of the hospital, each ward has access to south-facing garden areas, meaning you can relax and spend time outdoors. It also has excellent transport links, including:

• A local bus and train station
• A 10-minute drive to the M5 and M42 motorway

The successful candidate will deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care to a defined group of patients, assessing, planning, implementing, and reviewing care plans in partnership with patients and their families or carers. They will accurately assess patients' needs, monitor progress, and respond appropriately to changes in condition while contributing to a multidisciplinary approach to care. Responsibilities include prioritising and delegating nursing duties, acting as nurse in charge when required, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment. The role also involves participating in clinical supervision, ongoing professional development, and acting as a Preceptor to newly qualified staff. Candidates must maintain positive professional relationships, adhere to safeguarding, Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act, and medicines management requirements, and practise in accordance with organisational policies and the NMC Code. You will join the team across all wards.
