Priory Lichfield Road has an opportunity for a Director of Clinical Services who is registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council to join our team. Lichfield Road is a Rehabilitation Service in Bloxwich, Walsall. This rehabilitation service is accessible by public transport, with local bus stops approximately a 2–5 minute walk away and Bloxwich railway station approximately a 5–10 minute taxi journey from the site.

The Director of Clinical Services (DoCS) provides operational and clinical leadership to deliver the hospital's quality strategy, ensuring the highest standards of clinical care, compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, and achievement of quality performance indicators. The role leads clinical governance across the site, overseeing audits, governance reporting, incident and serious incident investigations, safeguarding, risk management, restrictive practice reduction, and continuous quality improvement. The DoCS supports regulatory inspections, service improvement plans, staff training and coaching, promotes a positive safety culture through shared learning, monitors patient and carer experience, ensures contractual quality requirements are met, builds effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, contributes to the development of organisational policies and procedures This position is a leadership role at Priory and during the interview process we will be assessing candidates against our leadership behaviours. Essential for the role- Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council or Health and Care Professions Council
- A recognised post-registration qualification together with full membership/accreditation of a relevant professional institution and evidence of continuous professional development.
