Priory Hospital Newbury has an opportunity for a Mental Health Nurse to join our team. 

Priory Hospital Newbury, Berkshire is a level 2 rehabilitation service supporting adult males with mental health needs, working towards community reintegration. It is accessible by public transport, with local bus routes nearby including services to Reading and Basingstoke, and nearby train stations providing links into London.

As a Mental Health Nurse, you will work as an effective member of the Multi-Disciplinary team and promote the best interests of the clients and carers and ensure that prescribed nursing care is effectively implemented. Essential for the role
A qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a minimum of 12 months post registration experience, along with active NMC registration and completion of a preceptorship programme. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of NMC guidelines, requirements, and professional standards, and be able to demonstrate ongoing post-registration continuing professional development. They will show a positive attitude and a commitment to change, service improvement, and high-quality care. The ability to adopt flexible and innovative approaches to practice is essential, as are excellent verbal and written communication skills.
