Priory Hospital Ty Cwm Rhonda has an opportunity for a RMN who is a Qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), with 6-12 months post-registration, to join our team in our 20-bed, all-male secure ward.
Priory Hospital Ty Cwm Rhondda, South Wales is a low secure mental health facility providing assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for males with complex mental health needs and serious mental illness. It is accessible by public transport, with a bus stop at the end of the street and two train stations within a five-minute walk, with links into Cardiff and wider regional connections.

As a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), you will deliver high-quality, person-centred care to a defined group of patients, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individual care plans in partnership with patients and their families. You'll build strong therapeutic relationships, monitor progress, respond to changing clinical needs, and contribute to positive recovery outcomes within a safe and supportive environment. Working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, you'll lead shifts when required, coordinate nursing care, participate in clinical meetings, and support the development of newly qualified colleagues through preceptorship. You'll also maintain your own professional development through regular clinical supervision and reflective practice while ensuring compliance with safeguarding legislation, the Mental Health Act, Medicines Management policies, the NMC Code, and all organisational policies and procedures. Essential for the Role- Qualified Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), with 6-12 months post registration experience with active NMC Registration and completed preceptorship programme.
