The ADOS Practitioner role
We are looking for an experienced ADOS-2 assessor, who has used the full range of modules on a wide age range, to work as part of our MDT on delivering and expanding our Neurodiversity Service. We welcome interest from Nurses, Occupational Therapists, and Speech and Language Therapists, as well as Psychologists. Whether joining as an independent practitioner, or joining our internal bank, we are open to all applications.

Role Specific:

• Support the children’s department by conducting ADOS-2 assessment as part of the overall autism assessment clinic
• Co-write high-quality and timely ASD reports together with the Consultant Paediatrician/Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist
• Support delivery of parent coaching sessions with parents/carers of children with ASD or other developmental differences and document them on the medical record system
• Support formulating intervention plans for families and conduct assessments based on Developmental Curriculum
• Participate in Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) meetings as well as in reflective practice groups
• Contribute to the expansion of the children’s department pathways and services
• Promote the service through engagement with neurodevelopmental publications and charities
• Support marketing efforts
• From time to time support the Director of Clinical Services with organizing, running and supporting the overall private clinic
• If needed, travel to other sites, clients’ houses, or conduct assessments or sessions remotely

Salary: £200-300 per day/£25 an hour, dependent of employment or contractor status, and experience

Essential:

• Experience with ADOS-2, all modules
• Experience with wide age range
• IT Proficiency (Microsoft Office package)
• Good verbal and written communication skills
