Care Assistant (Nights)

We are seeking an experienced Care Assistant to join our team in Rosepark Care Home for 33 hours, working Night Shift.

Our Care Assistants are at the forefront of resident engagement, they support and encourage meaningful interactions to ensure residents live with purpose and connection. Our Care Assistants who cover night shifts are essential and will participate in person-centred activities, particularly through 1:1 care and promoting lifestyle and wellbeing choices for all residents.

The Care Assistant role is to ensure the highest quality, person-centred care for all residents – supporting the delivery of each individual care plan. The role promotes the independence and choice of residents, making sure that their voice is heard through all elements of care and support. The role offers variety and versatility as no two shifts are the same. Key elements of care include:

• assisting with personal care
• promote a positive mealtime experience to enhance nutrition and hydration
• support meaningful connections
• create 1:1 meaningful activities

An essential aspect of the role is upholding the values of People, Friendly, Passionate and Inclusion. You will be an effective communicator and work well as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Having your SVQ2 and previous experience in the care sector is beneficial but not essential as full training is provided.
