The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Qualified Dental Nurse to join our friendly team. This part-time, permanent position is ideal for someone passionate about patient care and eager to contribute to a high-performing dental practice. You will work closely with dentists and other clinical staff to ensure smooth and effective dental procedures, while providing compassionate support to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during a variety of dental treatments and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Prepare and sterilise dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with administrative duties as required.
• Provide oral health education and advice to patients, promoting good dental hygiene practices.
• Support the team in maintaining a clean, organised, and compliant clinical environment.
• Manage stock levels and place orders to ensure the smooth running of the practice.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and professional standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Qualified Dental Nurse with current registration on the General Dental Council (GDC) register.
• Previous experience in a dental practice environment is preferred but not essential for the right candidate.
• Strong communication skills with a friendly and approachable manner.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to work well within a team.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of dental nursing practices.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and comply with data protection regulations.
