To provide support to the service manager to meet the aims and objectives of the Children's Zone 5-19 and the School Age Immunisation Service

Main duties of the jobThe Team Leader will be responsible for the leadership, development, supervision and professional direction of the Team.
The Team Leader will ensure that audit programmes, supervision and PDR processes are in place.
The Team Leader will be responsible for facilitating effective communication within the team.
Day to day leadership and management of teams, ensuring safe and effective care delivery
The Team Lead will lead on the contract requirements regarding quality and performance in collaboration with service commissioners

Person SpecificationQualifications- Essential
- oProfessional Qualification (NMC/HCPC/Social Work England)
- oEvidence of continued personal/professional development
- oEducated to degree level
- Desirable
- oExperience in children's community services
- oPostgraduate Leadership qualifications.
- oA registered Specialist Community Public Health Nurse
Experience- Essential
- oExperience of working within a multi-disciplinary team.
- oCurrently engaged in an advanced level of practice and able to demonstrate effective team management.
- oKnowledge and understanding of the government drivers and their influence on care.
- oExperience of working in community setting
- oExperience of checking current practice against national guidance, for example NICE
- oHave experience of providing/supporting new staff and preceptorship
- oExperience of providing supervision to clinical staff
- oHave good understanding of how Trust policies support practice and safe delivery of care
