Patients attend at planned timed appointments for specific treatments to manage long term illnesses. MDU is an increasingly growing nurse led clinic providing a service for all adult specilalty services, including biologic medicines ,dynamic blood testing /investiagtions with minor interventions.
Main duties of the jobwork co hesively within a small team
Assess treat/discharge day case patients, take charge of clinical area, safely delegate tasks appropriately,recognise /respond to emergency situations act as a role model/ mentor to junior staff/students. communicate efficiently openly with colleagues Consulatnts patients and family members. adhere to IPAC compliance escalting concerns appropriately
