Description

Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Band 7 Clinical Nurse Manager to provide strong clinical and operational leadership within our Cardiology CCU service. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced nurse leader to support the delivery of high-quality, safe and patient-centred care, while providing visible leadership to the nursing team.

They will also play an important role in service improvement, governance, patient safety, audit and the effective use of resources.

Applicants should have proven leadership experience, excellent communication skills and the ability to support and develop teams in a busy clinical environment. Previous cardiology experience is highly desirable, particularly given the specialist nature of the service and the need to work closely with CCU, cardiology wards, cath labs and specialist cardiology teams.

We want Cardiology Services to be a positive and supportive place to work, and this role will play an important part in contributing to a culture that enables staff across the department to feel valued, supported and motivated.
