Are you looking for a role where you can truly make a difference while developing your career in a supportive, forward-thinking team? Join the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust's Community Dental Service and become part of a friendly, well-established multidisciplinary team dedicated to improving the oral health of people who need us most.

Why join us?
This is more than just a dental role—it's an opportunity to provide life-changing care to children and adults with complex additional needs who are unable to access treatment in general dental practice. You'll work alongside an experienced and welcoming team of dentists, dental therapists, postgraduate trainees, dental nurses and administrative professionals who are passionate about delivering outstanding patient care.

What you'll do
Based in Barnstaple, you'll enjoy a varied and rewarding caseload, providing high-quality care for patients with a wide range of complex medical, physical, cognitive and social needs. Every day is different, offering opportunities to develop your clinical skills while making a genuine impact on the lives of patients and their families.

Grow your career with us
Whether you're looking to broaden your experience or take the next step in your professional development, we'll support you. While experience in primary dental care is essential, we also offer excellent training and development opportunities, including support to progress towards Tier 2 Practitioner level.

What we're looking for
We're seeking a compassionate, enthusiastic dentist who:
  • Has experience in primary dental care.
  • Enjoys working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.
  • Is keen to develop their skills and embrace new opportunities.
  • Has full GDC registration, dental performer number and transport.

Why Royal Devon?
At Royal Devon, you'll find a culture that values teamwork, innovation and continuous learning. Alongside a rewarding career, you'll enjoy the incredible lifestyle that Devon has to offer—from beautiful coastlines and national parks to vibrant market towns and thriving cities.

If you're ready for a role that's professionally rewarding, personally fulfilling and supported every step of the way, we'd love to hear from you.

Come and help us deliver exceptional dental care to those who need it most.
Working Pattern: 2 days per week
