The Advert

We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and compassionate Dietitian to join our friendly, supportive and dedicated Oncology Dietetics Team at North Middlesex University Hospital, part of the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust, as a Upper and Lower GI Specialist Oncology Dietitian.

This is a rewarding role at the heart of cancer care, supporting patients through some of the most challenging periods of their lives. You will work closely with patients diagnosed with Upper and Lower GI cancers, providing expert nutritional care throughout their treatment journey, including surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy and recovery.

We are looking for a Dietitian who is passionate about making a difference, enjoys building meaningful relationships with patients and families, and thrives as part of a multidisciplinary team. You will have strong clinical skills in nutritional assessment and support, alongside the confidence to manage a complex caseload and contribute to clinical decision-making within a specialist oncology setting.

Informal enquiries are warmly welcomed. We would be happy to discuss the role and tell you more about our team and the opportunities available.

Main duties of the job
This role offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced clinicians, specialist nurses, speech and language therapists, oncologists, surgeons and allied health professionals, ensuring patients receive holistic, person-centred care. You will also have the chance to contribute to service development, quality improvement initiatives, education, training and research activities, helping to shape and enhance the dietetic service for future patients.

We are proud of our supportive team culture and are committed to helping staff develop and grow. Whether you are looking to deepen your specialist oncology expertise, gain leadership experience, or become involved in research and service improvement, we will support your professional development and career aspirations.

If you are a motivated and caring Dietitian who shares our commitment to delivering outstanding cancer care and would like to be part of a welcoming and innovative team, we would love to hear from you.

Please see attached job description for more information about this role and working at Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust.
