Job summaryWe are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity to join our Urology Oncology CNS Team in one of the country's largest acute NHS Trusts.
The post will be leading an existing CNS Team offering ongoing patient support, working alongside staff to ensure that people with urological cancer undergoing oncological treatment are in receipt of the care they require to achieve the best quality of life possible.
This post holder will be highly skilled with relevant oncological/cancercare experience to support the delivery of clinically effective, efficient and high-quality care to people with complex specialist care needs, ensuring that this care is both evidence based and reflects current best practice. They will have a focus of delivering nurse led clinics and oncological support.
This is a trust role and the successful candidate will cover multiple sites.
Main duties of the jobThe post holder will manage the provision of specialist cancer care advice and support to people affected by Urological cancers.
This will be achieved both directly through clinical practice and caseload management, and indirectly through leadership, education, research, audit and professional activities.
The aim of the post is to maximise the treatment and quality of life of patients with this disease and to also provide support and advice to the families/carers of such patients.

- Relevant first degree
- Masters degree or working towards
