Main duties of the job
Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to facilitate and coordinate the educational agenda, including responsibility for safety action 8 of the CNST MIS scheme.

You will be an inspirational leader with recent experience leading a team, role modelling excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Excellent organisational skills are required to coordinate our clinical effectiveness forum along with the ability to inspire colleagues to engage in review of policies and guidelines.

Job responsibilities
Contribute to the education and retention strategies working collaboratively with internal and external agencies. Overseeing the clinical effectiveness forum and hold responsibility for safety action 8 of the maternity incentive scheme.

Person Specification
Qualifications and training
Essential

• Current NMC registration
• Registered/Practicing Midwife Mentorship and preceptorship trained
• Mentorship and preceptorship experience

Desirable

• Training qualification
• Educated to master's level

Knowledge and skills
Essential

• Recent clinical midwifery experience
• Leadership and team building skills
• Consistent in manner and approach Heightened communication and interpersonal skills

Desirable

• Experience in practice development role
