Job summaryOur Practice is looking to find a perfect fit for our current team - a Clinical Pharmacist who wants to work in a high achieving Practice with a superb local reputation. We expect the candidate to be forward thinking, a great team player, have excellent communication skills, and openness to working collaboratively with other colleagues in the Primary Care Network whilst retaining the essence of the Practice.

- Support with prescription and medication queries
- Clinical leadership on medicines optimisation and quality improvement
- Manage some aspects of Quality and Outcomes Framework and Enhanced Services
About usWe are a friendly, supportive team, based in Whalley with a branch site at Sabden, both situated in the beautiful Ribble Valley. We have 5 Partners, 5 Salaried GPs, ANP, a team of Practice Nurses and HCAs, and a large Reception and Admin team. We are a dispensing Practice and have an onsite dispensary at both sites - to give all of our patients a good quality experience at the surgery. We also have a Housebound Nursing Team of nursing professionals who work with our GPs to provide care to our care home and housebound patients.
We have a PCN team who work with our patients, including a Pharmacist, Pharmacy Techs, Care Co-ordinators, GP Assistants, and a Physio. We have a highly productive working relationship with the Practices within our PCN.
The team work well together, making the surgery a harmonious place to work. A healthy work/life balance is encouraged resulting in a content and productive team, and a positive atmosphere.
