Description

Hearing Aid Audiologist — Scrivens Hearing Care
Medical Centre Role | King's Lynn, Norfolk

Are you a qualified Hearing Aid Audiologist looking for a role where your skills will genuinely be in demand?

Scrivens Hearing Care is one of the UK's largest and most established hearing and optical healthcare providers, operating across a national network of branches and medical centres. We are excited to be expanding our medical centre operations into King's Lynn, and we are looking for an experienced, motivated Hearing Aid Audiologist to be part of that from the very beginning.

Why Scrivens?
We are both a busy NHS-contracted provider and a growing private hearing care service. That means you will be working with a substantial, active patient base from day one — with real variety in your clinical workload. Our medical centre audiologists conduct NHS hearing assessments and fittings, manage ongoing patient care, and introduce appropriate patients to our private hearing aid range where it is clinically and personally the right choice for them.

This is a standalone role, but you will not be working in isolation. You will be supported by an experienced remote management and clinical team, and will work closely day-to-day with the colleagues and practice staff within your medical centre. We have strong relationships with the medical centre practices we operate within, and for our King's Lynn service, building those relationships from the outset will be a key and rewarding part of the role.

We are looking for an audiologist who wants to be part of building something from the ground up, not just filling a vacancy.

What we are looking for:
  • HCPC-registered Hearing Aid Audiologist
  • Confident conducting full audiological assessments and hearing aid fittings
  • Comfortable working across both NHS and private pathways
  • Strong interpersonal and consultation skills
  • Able to work independently and manage your own clinic effectively

Why King's Lynn – and why now
King's Lynn is a historic market town and the commercial heart of West Norfolk, serving a wide and largely rural catchment area that stretches across the Fens, the Norfolk coast, and the agricultural communities of the surrounding countryside. It is a town with a strong sense of identity and a patient population that relies heavily on locally accessible healthcare — making it exactly the kind of location where a well-run, community-based hearing service can thrive.

West Norfolk has a significant and growing older population, and the demand for high-quality hearing care across the area is both substantial and underserved relative to more urban parts of the country. Scrivens is moving into this area because we see a clear and compelling need — and we want the right audiologist to come with us and help us meet it.

This is a genuine ground-floor opportunity. You will be establishing a new service in a community that needs it, with the full backing of a national provider behind you. For the right person, that is a rare and rewarding position to be in.

King's Lynn itself offers a good quality of life. With its historic centre, proximity to the North Norfolk coast and the Norfolk Broads, and a relatively affordable cost of living compared to many parts of the country, it is an attractive base for those looking to put down roots somewhere that genuinely rewards it.

If you are looking for a role with real purpose, a strong and underserved patient base, and the opportunity to shape something new, this is one worth taking seriously.
