Job summary
We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Radiographer to progress into a senior role within our busy Imaging Department. This role is ideal for an individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care while developing their leadership and professional skills. Leadership is a key aspect of the position, and you will be fully supported in building your confidence and capability through ongoing development opportunities.

As a Senior Radiographer, you will play an active role across a comprehensive range of imaging services, including plain film, theatre, CT and mobile radiography. You will also work closely with the QA Lead Radiographer to maintain robust quality assurance programmes, supporting equipment testing, record keeping and compliance activities.

This is a full-time position requiring cross-site working within our current shift system and on-call service. The role includes evenings, weekends, bank holidays and night working, with a transition to a dedicated night-shift rota anticipated in the future.

If you are an ambitious Radiographer looking to take the next step in your career, this is an excellent opportunity to develop your leadership skills, broaden your clinical experience and make a meaningful contribution to a progressive and supportive imaging service.

About us
We are an award-winning NHS Foundation Trust working alongside health and social care colleagues across the county to provide acute and community healthcare services to more than 420,000 people across Mansfield, Ashfield, Newark and Sherwood, and parts of Derbyshire and Lincolnshire.

We put the patient at the heart of everything that we do and it is our aim to make sure that every patient is treated as we would want a member of our own family to be treated. At the same time, we expect our staff to be caring, kind and courteous to each other and to look out for each other. We believe that we are truly a clinically-led organisation.

We are proud that our Trust colleagues have voted us the best acute Trust to work for in the East Midlands for seven years running in the National NHS Staff Survey, while the Care Quality Commission has rated our Trust as 'outstanding' for care and our King's Mill Hospital as the only 'outstanding' NHS-run hospital in the East Midlands.
