South West Yorkshire Partnership Foundation Teaching Trust are recruiting for a Consultant Psychiatrist to join the Memory Assessment and Support Service based at Summer Lane Centre, Wombwell. This role plays a vital part in ensuring our patients receive the care that they need and will be an integral role within the Older Persons Mental Health Services.

The starting salary for this post is aligned with point 04 of the consultant pay scale (£123,672 -£150,569), in line with Trust policy for newly appointed consultants. Placement on the scale will be reviewed where applicable NHS consultant experience can be evidenced.

• Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practise at the time of appointment.
• Included on the GMC Specialist Register for old age psychiatry / dual training with old age OR within six months of gaining CCT.
• Approved clinician status OR able to achieve within three months of appointment.
• Approved under S12 OR able to achieve within three months of appointment.
