What you'll do:
  • Deliver comprehensive primary care - manage busy medication rounds and run specialist clinics including tissue viability, wound care, immunisations, vaccinations, and national screening programmes
  • Provide urgent care - assess and triage patients with acute presentations, ensuring timely access to appropriate urgent care pathways
  • Support new arrivals - conduct thorough early days in custody assessments, identifying health needs and connecting individuals with the right care from day one
  • Lead clinical decision-making - carry out triage assessments and make autonomous clinical judgments that directly shape patient outcomes
  • Collaborate across teams - work closely with prison colleagues and partnership agencies, attend key meetings, and contribute to integrated care delivery

This role offers the perfect blend of clinical challenge and professional growth. You'll build diverse skills, work autonomously, and be part of a service that truly values innovation and compassionate care.
