This is an excellent opportunity for an HCA with clinical experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and delivering outstanding patient care.
What you'll be doing:- Support the nursing team within the Outpatient Department
- Undertake clinical observations including blood pressure, pulse and ECGs
- Assist with phlebotomy and specimen collection
- Prepare patients for consultations and treatments
- Ensure clinics run efficiently and provide excellent patient care throughout the patient journey
- Maintain accurate patient records and support day-to-day department administration
What We're Looking For:Essential:- Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant within a clinical setting
- Experience within Outpatients, Pre-Assessment or a surgical environment is desirable
- Competent in clinical observations and ECGs
- Good IT skills
- Flexible to work a variety of shifts, including occasional Saturdays
Desirable:- NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or Care Certificate
- Phlebotomy trained, including experience with both adult and paediatric patients
