Job summary
St Quintin Health Centre is looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and committed Salaried GP to join our small NHS practice in North Kensington, West London. We care for approximately 4,000 patients and pride ourselves on offering high-quality, patient-centred care with good continuity. This is an excellent opportunity for a GP who enjoys working in a supportive, close-knit team and would like to be part of a well-established local surgery. The role is for
4-5 sessions per week. There are no home visits, and salary will be dependent on experience.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will undertake the usual duties of a Salaried GP in an NHS general practice setting. This will include face-to-face and telephone consultations, reviewing test results, issuing prescriptions, managing clinical correspondence, making referrals where appropriate, and supporting the ongoing care of our registered patients. You will work closely with our clinical and administrative team to provide safe, effective and compassionate care. The role would suit a GP who values continuity of care and enjoys being part of a friendly, collaborative practice team.

As a small surgery, we know our patients well and are able to offer good continuity of care. Job responsibilities
The postholder will provide high-quality general medical services to our registered patient population and work as part of our clinical team.
Key responsibilities will include:- Undertaking face-to-face and telephone consultations
- Assessing, diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions
- Prescribing safely and appropriately
- Reviewing and acting on test results and clinical correspondence
- Making referrals where clinically appropriate
- Maintaining accurate and timely clinical records
- Working collaboratively with clinical and administrative colleagues
- Supporting continuity of care for our patients
- Following practice policies and procedures, including safeguarding, confidentiality and information governance
The post is for 4-5 sessions per week, with the exact working pattern to be agreed. There are no home visits.

Experience
Essential- Experience of working in NHS general practice
- Ability to manage a varied clinical workload
- Experience of face-to-face and telephone consultations
- Good understanding of safe prescribing, referrals and clinical documentation

Qualifications
Essential- Full GMC registration
- Licence to practise
