About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced registered nurse to take on the role of ECT Clinic Manager within our Trustwide Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) service. Based at Farnham Road Hospital, the clinic provides essential treatment for some of the most vulnerable people accessing acute mental health services across the Trust.

Working closely with the ECT Matron, you will support the safe, effective and compassionate delivery of our ECT service, ensuring high clinical standards, excellent patient experience, and smooth operational management.

About You
You will be an NMC-registered RMN or RGN with:

• Significant post-qualification experience, including demonstrable experience working with mental health service users, with previous/ current experience at Band 6 in an inpatient setting
• Relevant professional experience working within an ECT service
• ECTAS training would be an advantage

You will bring excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams. A commitment to compassionate care, quality improvement, and maintaining a safe and supportive environment is essential.

Main duties of the job
What You'll Be Doing
As ECT Clinic Manager, your responsibilities will include:

Leadership & Staff Management

• Providing day-to-day leadership to the clinic team
• Managing staffing levels, recruitment, induction and training
• Coordinating appraisals, supervision and performance management
• Supporting the team through internal Quality Standards Reviews and external ECTAS accreditation

Operational Oversight

• Ensuring safe, effective and person-centred clinical processes
• Maintaining robust safeguarding, information governance and health & safety standards
• Contributing to Trust-wide policies, procedures and quality initiatives

Service & Budget Management

• Assisting with the development and monitoring of the clinic budget
• Ensuring appropriate procurement and invoice coding
• Identifying service needs and supporting improvement initiatives

Collaboration & Communication

• Working closely with the ECT Matron, Medical Clinic Lead and Senior Clinic Nurse
• Liaising with inpatient wards, referring teams, carers and external partners
• Ensuring timely and effective communication across all stakeholders
