Job summaryAre you an experienced Band 5 nurse looking for a unique opportunity? Health Based Place of Safety are recruiting a Band 5 Nurse.
For this role we would ask that you have completed your preceptorship programme and can confidently carry out medication , accurately document and support junior staff.
The post is supported by Band 6 Nurses , a Ward Manager and several extremely experienced junior staff.

Main duties of the job- Liaison with AMPH to arrange Mental Health Act (MHA) assessments
- Safe admission and discharge of patients placed on 135/136 MHA
- Patient wellbeing whilst in the suite
- Junior staff support
- Liaison with other NHS trusts
- Supporting assessments
- Management of the environment
- Medication
- Documentation
- Support bed management
- Support B6 nurses
- Audit and CQC readiness
- Police liaison
- Patient advocate
