  • Define learning objectives, content architecture, learner pathways, assessment approaches, measurement plans, and quality expectations.
  • Guide medical writers, instructional designers, creative teams, digital specialists, subject matter experts, and project managers to deliver high-quality learning materials.
  • Review learning content for strategic alignment, clinical relevance, medical accuracy, learner clarity, scientific balance, and consistency with approved messaging.
  • Provide medical governance and ensure learning programmes comply with applicable medical, legal, regulatory, ethical, and industry standards.
  • Support business development, proposal strategy, senior client presentations, capability recommendations, and project planning where required.

Qualifications and Essential Requirements
  • Degree or advanced qualification (i.e. PhD) in medicine, pharmacy, nursing, life sciences, biomedical sciences, medical education, or a related discipline.
  • Significant experience in medical education, pharmaceutical training, healthcare communications, medical affairs learning, instructional strategy, or a related role.
  • Proven experience providing medical review, scientific guidance, or strategic advisory input for learning programmes is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience working with medical, legal, regulatory, and compliance review processes is essential or highly desirable, depending on role seniority.
  • Strong understanding of medical education, clinical practice, healthcare communications, pharmaceutical training, or scientific learning environments.
  • Ability to interpret complex scientific and medical information and convert it into clear, practical, engaging, and medically accurate learning content.
  • Knowledge of adult learning theory, instructional design models, curriculum development, blended learning approaches, and capability-building strategies.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, medical judgement, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Strong advisory, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders, customers, and subject matter experts.
  • High attention to detail, particularly in relation to medical accuracy, compliance, terminology, scientific balance, and approved messaging.
  • Experience developing or overseeing learning solutions across formats such as live workshops, eLearning, microlearning, videos, coaching guides, facilitator materials, assessments, and field tools.
